Our sustainable impact

Turning waste into cleaner energy.

Our sustainability initiatives combine biomass fuel, recycled-waste steam generation and solar power to reduce dependence on non-renewable resources.

4,500 Tons of bio-fuel generated per month
70% Fuel cost reduction
0% NOx & SOx emission
20 kW Solar-based power generation

Pakistan annually produces about 50 million tons of agricultural waste, a potential resource for producing biofuels or biogas. Manufacturing biomass pellets from agricultural waste supports the transition to renewable energy, fosters environmentally friendly practices and reduces reliance on non-renewable resources.

Supplementing our biomass efforts, efficient processes generate steam from recycled waste. This eco-friendly alternative to traditional coal-based methods enhances energy efficiency and aligns with our commitment to sustainable industrial practices.

A 20 kW solar power system at our facilities supports our commitment to diversified energy sources, reducing our carbon footprint and protecting our planet.

Next: how PPWR shapes our packaging decisions Explore the PPWR pathway

PPWR / circular packaging

Packaging is moving from material choice to material responsibility.

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 is changing how packaging is designed, sourced, documented and recovered across the European market. For printers and packaging partners, sustainability is becoming part of the specification — not a final polish.

REGULATION (EU) 2025/40 EU PACKAGING FRAMEWORK
A living PPWR pathway Materials → design → recovery
PPWR READINESS IN MOTION
PPWR DESIGNING FOR 2030
01 / ROOTS Responsible inputs

Recycled papers, FSC-certified boards and lower-impact substrates reduce virgin resource use.

02 / TRUNK Recyclable by design

Material combinations, coatings and adhesives are considered early for easier recovery.

03 / CANOPY Circular value

Clear specifications help Ali PrintPack and its customers make lower-waste choices through packaging's next life.

Why a tree? The roots represent responsible materials, the trunk represents Ali PrintPack's controlled production choices, and the canopy represents packaging designed to keep value in circulation under the PPWR direction.

Why PPWR matters

A new sustainability baseline for packaging partners.

PPWR is a binding European Union regulation, not a certification. It puts more focus on packaging prevention, recyclable design, recycled content, material information and the systems needed to recover packaging after use. That makes early, evidence-led preparation valuable for companies supplying European customers.

01 Design decisions matter earlier

Material combinations, finishes, adhesives and construction choices can influence recyclability and recovery.

02 Proof becomes part of the conversation

Customers increasingly need clearer information about materials, sourcing, specifications and production choices.

03 Prepared suppliers build trust

A practical readiness story helps international customers plan better packaging projects with fewer surprises.

Preparing for the future of EU packaging

The PPWR roadmap.

We are building practical readiness through better material choices, clearer specifications and more confident project conversations.

  2. 2026Main provisions begin applying12 August 2026
  3. 2030Recyclability requirementsMore packaging designed for recyclable recovery
  4. 2035Enhanced recyclability performanceHigher expectations develop across the market
  5. 2040Long-term reuse and sustainability targetsThe circular packaging direction continues

PPWR is Regulation (EU) 2025/40. Requirements depend on the final packaging format, materials, market and customer obligations. Read the regulation on EUR-Lex
